[Construction Example] Materials that replace mortar spraying within the lightweight frame.

Behind the house on a steep slope. The road is narrow, and construction is done within the legal framework for repairs and lightweight legal frameworks. It's lightweight, and there's no need for the installation of machinery for mortar spraying aimed at weed prevention!

After the removal of weeds, a mortar spraying was ordered for repairs within the existing slope framework and for weed control within the lightweight slope framework. However, the site is located in a residential area with narrow roads, which posed challenges for the installation of the mortar spraying machine, material storage, and noise issues. The client (the prefecture) inquired about alternative construction methods to mortar spraying, and a site survey was conducted. As a result of the survey, we proposed the water-hardening civil engineering sheet "Kouka Tekimen" due to its lightweight and ease of construction, minimal need for material storage, and the absence of significant noise since heavy machinery is not used. In the waterway construction for mountain conservation work, there were areas where the transportation of corrugated materials was difficult. Therefore, we adopted the water-hardening civil engineering sheet "Kouka Tekimen," which is lightweight and has excellent workability, for use in the waterway construction. "Hardened Tekimen" is a multipurpose civil engineering sheet that hardens in its shape upon reacting with water. The water-hardening resin impregnated in the fiberglass cloth inside the sheet reacts with moisture from rain and air to harden, forming an FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) structure. A rigid impermeable layer is formed on the construction surface, providing long-term protection against weathering and erosion.
